Medium Premium Tanks are on Half pff, so bought the Matilda Black Prince and the Matilda IV.

Put my Matilda crew (1st perk BiA, second perks at 74%) into the Matilda BP and with 1st shot had a Kill. Smile Battle was a victory and I survived. Good first going.

Then it was the Matilda IV's turn. Put my T-28 crew in (almost at 100%, so no perks yet), and sent them into Battle.

Siegfried Matilda IV
Encounter -Feb 7th, 2014

Like the Matilda BP battle, first shot = kill Smile and then it just got better. Seven total kills, so Top Gun. Sharpshooter. Master Gunner. damaged two others.

I put the images into a graphics program, I use Paint.NET (Free). I sharpen the image, crop it, and then resize it so it is 800 wide. The Sharpening helps keep it readable after shrinking the image.

Well, this battle is closely connected to the Matilda IV battle I just posted.

The Matilda IV battle ( 7 kills -Top Gun. Sharpshooter. Master Gunner.) had my T-28 crew that were all below 100% in skill level.  Well, last night, that same crew, still under 100%, took the T-28 out.  And they earned another Top Gun, and also were rewarded with the Oskin's Medal

Oskin's Medal

Awarded to players on medium tanks who destroy 3 enemy tanks or tank destroyers. The targets must be at least 2 tiers higher than the player's tank.

Feb 10th, 2014 -Erlenberg
Encounter Battle -T-28

Oskin's medal, Top Gun, 6 Kills, Ace Tanker Mastery Badge

I went to the east side of the map and circled around. Spotted, camped, ambushed, supported, and just plain attacked head-on as the circumstances warranted.

New all-time best.  5 kills came after I was down to me and an arty. (my team was really bad and litterally was in a straight line for them to pick off on east side of map...)
Couldn't get back across map in time once I saw the SU was capping though.. Sad Sad

Two TOP GUNs

1st is with the Chi-To, a tank I hate.  I have been getting a 33% Win rate with.  When I do well with it, we seem to lose.  When it gets shot out from under me in seconds, we seem to win.

So started the day with the Chi-To in hopes of a quick victory so as to not have to grind with it.  Prayers are answered, in spades.

May 22nd, 2014 -Ruinberg in Flames

Victory -6 Kills

Entered battle with a player complaining about someone stealing his Top Gun award. How was I to know that I was going to go on a roll and get a Top Gun myself.  Smile

Wish to thank player Gonxy for not shooting me in the back when I gave him numerous opportunities to do so, that and that I killed the KV1 he was trying to get behind (I was trying to keep the the KV1 facing me, but he turned his turret to face Gonxy, so I pulled out and shot him).

*******

2nd Top Gun.

Just bought the Valentine II as it was on sale, and wow, what a great buy!  1st battle with it and I cleaned up the enemy forces.  Luck, skill, and who knows what.

May 30th, 2014 -Serene Coast
Victory -6Kills

Loaded up my M-25 crew (my original tier 1 Russian crew) and sent them to battles to try out my new purchase.  Just went straight up the middle and the enemy presented them selves for me to kill.  Was lucky in not getting wiped out by a few of those who hit me, bur basically most said "Kill Me!"

Had an EPIC Defeat in the final battle of my grind with the Black Prince.  It is now elite!

May 31st, 2014 -Lakeville Enconter
Defeat -7 Kills

Started slow, but became a battle for possession of the lone base. The toughness and quick loading of the Black Prince saved my bacon on this match.

I was awarded the de Langlade's Medal (taking out enemy on the base), High Caliber, Top Gun, 7 kills!  My base exp was, for a defeat, 1,176 points, but I was also awarded an additional 665 points for "Courageous resistance."  With War Gaming's x2 event for top ten players of a defeated team, I made a whopping 3,662 exp points for a loss!

Replay can be found here:

almost all went for the city, so I held back encase the valley was swarmed.  First kill is a Luchs that went after one of our Arty's, but I killed him, saving the arty.  Then went into town and battled for turf.  Final fight with the TOG is still a nail biter.

Well, it can be said that the CO for The Fighting 24th still has it!  I had fun, had a great fight, kicked butt, took down names, rode rough shod over the enemy, survived the battle, won the battle, and was the last TOG standing!

Sept. 16, 2014 - Highway
Victory - 8 Kills

Awards recieved:

Top Gun
Steel Wall
Defender
High Caliber
Kolobanov's Medal
Radley-Walter's Medal
Mastery Badge : Ace Tanker

Started in the North (upper right on the map).  Really did not know what to do.  Go East?  Or go to town?

I'm in a TOG II, long ways to go, and mostly in the open.

Decide to head towards town.  Slowly head to it.  So slowly that I get bored and shoot an run over buildings in my base.  And slowly, as slowly as a TOG can be, I rachet up from undecided, to a brawling hero for my team.

SWAMP 6Kills

June 4th 2015 Victory

Top Gun, Tank Mastery

Enemy sent no one, not only no one to the Windmill to camp, nor to the A line to clear the far North. I got to the enemy's normal camping spot with enemy tanks crossing the filed in front of it. So I used the enemy's normal camping spot to raise hell.

When the did try to get me off, they mostly did so one at a time, and would come to a full stop and sit there to fire at me. I kept moving and fired and tore them to shreds.

M7 Priest on our side got 5 kills, but never usurped me from Top Gun Position! Oh Yeah, this battle felt good!

Himmelsdorf  5 Kills

March 20th 2016 DEFEAT

5 kills is always nice, and I have had a number of them since my last report.  So what makes me get out of the game to post this when the others didn't? Especially a DEFEAT?

Was it being called a Hack?  Not quite, but that was the icing for this match.  It was that two of my kills were Abe and Aegnet, former members of our humble squad.

As to being called a hack, the T2 came screaming around the corner and I auto locked on him and fired, blowing him to bits. Actually every kill was with auto lock instead of manual aim. Smile
